regarding possible merge with Jones Co. Early-Childhood Board (formerly Empowerment)
TIPTON,
IA., January 11th, 6:30pm, located at Cedar County Extension Office, 107 Cedar St., Tipton.
The Forum
will provide an opportunity for citizens, Early-Childhood providers and others interested in the well-being of children ages
0-5 in Cedar County to voice their thoughts and opinions about the possibility of merging Cedar Co. Early-Childhood Board
(formerly Cedar Co. Empowerment) with Jones Co. Early-Childhood Board.
The agenda for the evening
will be:
- Welcome and Introductions
- Cedar Co. and Jones Co. Early-Childhood Board Members
will give an overview of the Merger possibilities.
- Questions taken from the audience and Answer session
- Summarize Public Comments and Suggestions
We are in process of changing our name to Early Childhood Iowa to reflect a statewide
change. Please be patient and understanding while we change over and keep in mind that this is the Empowerment Board of Cedar
County of the last twelve years. Thank you.
Cedar County Empowerment Area serves to improve the well being
of families with young children to reduce unnecessary barriers to community effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness
of local education, health and human services programs.
